The mallorquin luxury finca “La Posada del Marqués” is located only 4 km from Esporles, on the southern branch of the mighty mountain range of Sierra de Tramuntana.
The valley of Es Verger is situated here, a nature reserve with breathtaking views over the south of the island.
On the mountain slope of the La Fita del Rams, at 510 m altitude lays the 16th century manor “La Posada del Marqués”.
This mansion was converted to a luxurious 4 Star Hotel in 1993, at which the original architectural forms were preserved. The clever fusion of late middle ages architecture, modern elements and functionality combined with luxurious comfort will dazzle you.

The *Restaurant **”Sa Tafona” , one of the islands most beautiful restaurants, is accomodated in the former  „Tafona“ (oil mill). The olive plantation was used to produce oil which was sold in the local markets during the period when the noble mallorquin family of the “Marques de Verger” were still running the estate. The original old oil mill can still be admired inside the restaurant, an incomparable setting for enjoying specialities in an exquisit atmosphere.
Through his creative, high quality dishes Chef de cuisine Christian Denz has led the restaurant to the top of the mallorquin addresses for excellent dining. The loving care with which the dishes have been prepared can be appreciated every minute of the meal.
His cuisine presents itself as European: traditional meals are interpreted through a certain lightness and subtlety. His creations are crowned by herbs and spices, grown in his own bio-organical garden. Sage blossoms adorm the crown roast and the fresh salmon is pickeld with wild fennel.
The restaurant is an insider tipp on the island. Chose a la carte or enjoy one of our carefully prerared menues. For “in – between snacks” you will also find a range of creative combinations on our menu.
The entire offer is rounded off by a selected range of wine, among them beverages from well known local vineyards as well as chosen wines from the Spanish mainland and some international names.
During the months of summer, dinner is served on the unique terrasse with its sensational view of the Tramuntana Range down to Palma. The view turns even more romantic in the evening hours, when the city below changes into a breathtakingly beautiful sea of lights.
