"Torre dei Corsari", not a random name, reminds us of the Algeria and Tunisia's troops (but called "buccaneers" by the locals) who, for 600-700 years, would land in the middle of the night with their swords with the sole purpose of looting, destroying and raping the village's women. As an ancient local saying goes: “Furada chie benidi ’e mari”, who comes from the sea steals! Here is explained the ancestral Sardinian aversion for the sea, from which they always kept far from. Of the buccaneers today, the only the memory left are the medieval watchtowers.

A beautiful oasis, a paradise on earth. Hard to describe, its variegated landscape and its wild beauty make this location unique; a piece of Australia or Sahara in the mini desert one can found between “Punta S’Aschivoni” and “Torre di Flumentorgiu”, "Is Arenas" the sands, in Sardinian. At the back of a landscape that ignores the passing of time: along with Euforbie, Mirti, Rosmarini, a brethless landscape is revealed. A symphony of dunes that overlap and chase one another up to the sea. A sea of surreal transparency. A magic land, where the water green topaz fades into turquoise and cobalt, while the refreshing breeze gently mixes the briny airs with the scent of the Mediterranean maquis, rich all around, that in the spring becomes a prism of colors. The dunes, closed around Capo Frasca, are carpeted of purple, blue, yellow, rose and scarlet flowers; a painting so big that no museum would be able to frame it.

Torre dei Corsari is welcoming with its untouched coasts, the large beach settled on top of a magnificent sea. The sun, a golden beach, a light breeze, the sea and a lot of space are alone a warranty for a pleasant vacation, even for the younger ones. It is also a very romantic place; it is easy to think about the spectacular cliffs that split in a variety of fjords, where the sea bobs in and out, and that turn a rose color at sunset.
A landscape filled of charm that makes it one the most beautiful location in Sardinia. The crystal-clear water, the white sand, the fresh night's breeze, leave one with the memory of a vacation where a generous smile was the answer to a question that was never asked: "How are you?”

Also, who is looking for quite and privacy will be rewarded. It's easy to find privacy among the hills, by the refreshing shadows of millenary juniper trees, or by hidden coves facing absolute transparent waters.

Exit from harbor or airport
Follow directions to Sassari - Oristano. Follow state road SS 131, exit at Terralba Drive straight to the town. Drive straight after the first traffic light, turn right at first Stop sign, and drive straight up to the traffic lights at Tanca Marchesa.
At the traffic lights in town Tanca Marchesa turn left, drive straight up to the last Stop sign and turn left; follow signs to Marceddi', a small fishermen town.
Arrived in Marceddi' cross the bridge behind the small church. The bridge is very narrow, two cars side by side barely fit. After the bridge follow the road to the Stop sign. At the Stop sign turn right toward San'Antonio di Santadi, small town, and then continue straight toward Torre dei Corsari. You are no 5 Kilometres from destination.
Arrived in Torre dei Corsari, keep driving straight, turn left on the street immediately preceding the supermarket ISA; drive 30 meters to the villa on the right.

Drive away from the harbour toward Sassari/Nuoro/Cagliari
Follow directions to Sassari, take Superstrada (freeway) , exit at San Teodoro
Follow directions to Nuoro, take Superstrada (freeway), exit at Abbasanta
Follow directions to Cagliari, enter state road SS131, exit at Santa Giusta (about 86 Kilometers)
Follow directions to Arborea, take "strada provinciale" (SP), keep driving beyond the town up to Marceddì, a small fishermen town.
