Thanks to its sunny and wind sheltered location, Bezau a very popular winter and summer holiday destination.
Bezau offers a variety of opportunities for recreational activities for locals and guests. The recreational areas in and around Bezau can come up with attractive opportunities for relaxation and adventure. Both in summer and in winter the experience value is high.
A popular destination in summer, the Railway Museum, the so-called "Wälderbähnle". With the lifts Bezau establishment is the "special roof" and the "tree garden level" - the starting point Bezau - Low and for many hikes and meeting points for paragliders.

Natural Monuments
In the district "Greben" lies "Grebauer moss", a bog, which in 1960 - has been drained - unsuccessfully. Today, efforts are made to the preservation of the wetland. For this purpose, on behalf of the municipality have been mapped, the plant world, described the soil structure and made arrangements with local farmers through the extensive use of the moss.
Another bog with species-rich habitat is found in the vicinity of the roof with special "Stonger moss"
In the district of "creep" is the "Cave Park," a collection of house-sized boulders, which are caused by rockfalls and rockfall forming caves. On one of the solitary rocks, the "Klausostua" is located, accessible by a narrow bridge, a small pavilion with a magnificent view on the site. The cave is a natural park nature trail was created, which informs the traveler with 45 plates located on the roadside vegetation.
The Vorsäß Schönbach is one of the finest and most homesteads of the Bregenzerwald. It was first mentioned in 1491. Nestled in a spectacular mountain range, it consists of about 25 houses and a chapel.
